Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Scope of the Policy and Covered Services
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, training materials, subscriptions, and related professional resources offered through glitzrafti. The services focus on studio production in motion, including studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and workflows for television news and live shows. It covers every transaction made by customers located in the United Kingdom and explains the terms under which payments are processed and refunds may be issued. The policy does not apply to third-party products or services accessed through external links.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable and shown separately at checkout. No hidden fees apply to standard purchases, although optional add-ons such as extended access periods or certification documents may incur extra charges that are clearly indicated before payment is confirmed. Currency conversion fees charged by your payment provider remain your responsibility and are not controlled by glitzrafti.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
Payments are accepted via major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers where offered. Each transaction requires authorisation from your card issuer or payment provider. glitzrafti uses secure payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards to protect card details. No payment information is stored on our servers after processing. Authorisation holds may appear on your statement until the transaction completes.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A contract is formed once you receive an email confirmation following successful payment. This confirmation details the purchased course or subscription, access instructions, and applicable terms. Until this point no binding agreement exists. Digital access is granted immediately upon confirmation for most products, subject to the cancellation rights described below.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving confirmation without giving a reason. For digital content that begins immediately you must expressly consent to waive this right. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the contact details provided at the end of this policy.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for cancellations within the 14-day period provided no substantial use of the digital content has occurred. Once you have downloaded or streamed more than a reasonable sample, the right to a refund is lost. Non-refundable items include completed live workshops, personalised coaching sessions already delivered, and promotional bundles clearly marked as final sale. Refunds are not provided for change of mind after the cooling-off period or for failure to meet technical requirements on your own equipment.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a clear statement of your intention to cancel. Include any relevant details such as the date of purchase. Requests received outside business hours will be processed on the next working day. You may also use the contact form on the Contacts page if preferred.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision
Each request is reviewed within five working days. You will receive written notification of approval or rejection together with reasons where applicable. If further information is required you will be contacted promptly. Approved refunds proceed to the next stage; rejected requests may be appealed once with additional supporting evidence.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes five to ten working days after approval, although bank transfer refunds may require up to fourteen days. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been initiated. Any currency conversion differences are borne by the customer.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital courses and subscriptions are treated as digital content under UK law. Once access is granted and you have begun consumption, cancellation rights are limited. Promotional offers such as discounted annual subscriptions are subject to the same 14-day rule unless you have started the content. Auto-renewing subscriptions require 30 days notice for cancellation to avoid the next billing cycle.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments must be resolved within seven days or access will be suspended. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically where confirmed. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in account review. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account suspension and referral to relevant authorities while preserving evidence as required by law.
Mandatory Consumer Rights That Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, or the Payment Services Regulations. These rights include remedies for faulty digital content and the ability to seek redress through the courts or alternative dispute resolution schemes. glitzrafti complies fully with the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations.
